Description

“Lynch” pin – Yellow passivated steel (Top left)

“Lynch” pin – 4mm Stainless steel (Top right)

“R” pin – 4mm Bright Zinc plated / BZP (Bottom left)

Which should you use?

If you are frequently taking the launching trolley wheels on & off then Lynch pins are more convenient being easier to fit & remove. However, they are more prone to corrosion which makes them more difficult to open & close.
Stainless steel lynch pins are more expensive but much more corrosion resistant

“R” pins are cheaper, more robust & less effected by corrosion but less easy to fit & remove.
